Busy Bees Transition Unit: 2-3 years old
This area caters for children aged betweem 2-3 years old.
The Busy Bee educators provide a balanced programme consisting of aspects from both the childcare and pre-school units. This helps the children to settle when they transition and also prepares them for moving up to the pre-school when they are ready.
Toileting and other important self-help and self-care skills are practiced and fostered at this stage and children are kept busy with activities and experiences appropriate for their level and individual needs, preferences and interests.
Free choice and structured times are scheduled yet flexible enough to work around the individual and/or group needs
